A Safe Harbor

There will never be a service organization that holds a higher place in the heart of Game Scrubber than Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery. In a nutshell, Safe Harbor is a place for children and families to find rescue and resources when dealing with trauma and it’s effects. They not only work with the developmental issues for the child, but they also provide education and parenting classes for adults.

Whether sending materials across the country to aid the children of a departing soldier or helping someone who walks in off the street, I have personally seen them go far beyond what is expected of them or what is specifically funded "because," as they pledge, "every child deserves a safe harbor."
